Ooni of Ife addressed residents

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has warned the police against playing ethnic role capable of causing disaffection in the mayhem which broke out between the Yoruba and the Hausa communities in ile-ife, Osun state early this month. He said this during a condolence visit by leaders of Pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere to him and victims of the crisis in his palace yesterday.
The monarch, who said he had spoken with the police authority on the matter, also cautioned against politicizing the justice of the matter. Oba Ogunwusi, however, appealed to the Yoruba, warning that violent reactions would always worsen the crisis of such nature, explaning that persevering and admitting any alleged wrongdoing against the Yoruba would not be an admission of weakness. He said: “The unity of this nation is very important and we must all defend it. We must all ensure peaceful coexistence.
Painfully, the misfortune has happened but we just have to allow peace to reign. “We cannot settle violence with violence. We all should persevere and realise that people of different tribes live in other parts of the country. It is patience that we need to get this case resolved.
“I have communicated with necessary authorities in the police force over the matter. There is a unique coexistence among people of different tribes and religions here and we must maintain that model.
“We only know the beginning of a war, nobody knows the end. I plead with Afenifere and other groups to let peace reign so that the crisis will not degenerate. “Youths should not allow this issue be turned to a political one. They should be careful and not allow this issue to be politicised. We should remember that most of these politicians don’t come to Sabo to render assistance until the misfortune that happened.”

Blood Mongers: Gang war leaves many injured in Mushin, Lagos

Inside Mainland reports that the bloody clash between the rival gangs started when scores of hoodlums from different ends stormed the axis wielding dangerous weapons like cutlasses, machetes, axes and guns and engaged themselves in a fight and in the process, looted shops, vandalized parked vehicles and attacked anyone in sight.

It was gathered that gunshots were heard for several hours before operatives of the Nigerian Police stormed the area to restore normalcy.
Mushin area after the gang war Photo Credit: Inside mainland The clash allegedly broke out after the Alamutu group embarked on a candlelight procession for a bus conductor who belonged to their gang, died after he fell off a moving vehicle and was buried accordingly.
During the candlelight procession, however, led to an argument between the Alamatu Boys and the Alaka Boys, another notorious gang, on territorial supremacy.
The fight was said to have escalated into a big clash on Saturday night and continued till the early hours of Monday morning before the police mobilized officers to the scene.
It was gathered that during the heavy shooting, some residents were hit by stray bullets fired by the gang members as this led to confusion as residents scampered for safety to avoid being caught in the fracas.
A resident who spoke on the situation in the area said rival gangs clashing in Mushin was not a new thing as they always clashed over minor issues.
"The war between the gangs are normal things in this area. They would fight now and in the next minute, everything returns to normal. Only those who are not familiar with the area get entangled in the fracas most times.
This particular fight started due to an argument between the Alaka and Alamutu boys. They laid siege around Idi-Oro market in Mushin, burning tyres and shelling broken bottles. This led to a massive struggle among residents to avoid being hurt,” the resident said.

Boko Haram IEDs kills 2 security personnel, injures 3 in Borno

Members of the local vigilante in Borno State, popularly called civilian joint task force, yesterday stepped on an improvised explosive device, IED, suspected to have been planted by Boko Haram militants, along Dikwa, Maiduguri road.
A member of the group, Ahmadu Kachallah, who disclosed this said they went out on manhunt for fleeing members of the dread Islamic sect, who were expected to be hibernating among communities in Dikes.
According to him, “while coming back from our victorious trip, one of our vehicles stepped on IED. The vehicle belonging to members of CJTF Dikwa local government was badly damaged and we lost two of our members, while three others who sustained injury are currently receiving treatment at the state specialist hospital, Maiduguri.
“As you can see, we are just coming back from condolence to the families of those we lost in the incident,” he said.
The members of the CJTF also appreciated the role played by the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC, who were on hand at the time of the incident and responded by ensuring that those wounded were immediately evacuated for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the state Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Borno State, who is also the coordinator of the CJTF, Barrister Kaka Shehu Lawan has consoled the families of the CJTF, on behalf of Government and people of the State.
He urged members of the CJTF not to deter in their determination to rid the state of bad elements fleeing military onslaught and taking refuge in various communities.
He said the government under the leadership of Kashim Shettima will always take good care of them, particularly those who sacrificed their lives to defend their people.
He said government would take care of all those injured and also assist the family of the deceased.

HOLY SPIRIT SAID I SHOULD STOP SLEEPING WITH MY HUSBAND, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

HOLY SPIRIT SAID I SHOULD STOP SLEEPING WITH MY HUSBAND, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
I am in a great confusion, I had issues with my husband some months ago and my Pastor helped us to settle it, that was three months ago, now my husband is really in love with me, and he is taking good care of me.
But after the service on Sunday, my Pastor asked me to see him in his office, he called in another Pastor as witness and they told me that God said I should not sleep with my husband again if I don’t want him to kill me.
It’s very strange to me, but my fear is my Pastor has given me more than ten prophesies that came to pass, he even prophesied that I will get my present Government job without applying for it and it came to pass. Now, he said I should stop sleeping with my husband, I still love my husband, he doesn’t look like a killer, but this prophesy, I am really down and confused, can Holy Spirit say something like that? I have not allow my husband to sleep with me since Sunday, it’s already affecting his relationship with me, I can’t even tell him, how can I say such a thing, can somebody please help me with a solution to this issue?
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

: SEX IS FOOD!!!!!!

To Women:
Sex is not all about making children. You must be a different woman to your husband every time. Seduce your husband, don't always allow your husband to ask for Sex, there must be no
timetable for sex. Be creative, don't be predictable. Give him what he wants. If you loose
influence over your husband, you have lost womanhood. Be part of your husband plans.

Don't have too many children, ahah, do you want to sell them? Allow your husband to check in and out anytime. When a man is sexually satisfied, he is emotionally stable. Stop saying, is it food? YES SEX IS FOOD!!!! Stop telling him you have headache and stomach pain or you're tired, because you don't want to have sex.

As a wife, try to invest in yourself spiritually so you can adequately support him. Build yourself as
his prayer warrior so that you will not be forced to pray at the end of your life. Don't allow your
husband to provide all your needs, he is not a money making machine. Iron sharpens iron, try to reciprocate.

You are meant to support each other spiritually, financially, physically and morally through thick and thin. You are a builder....A Wise woman buildeth her home. Women need wisdom to build their homes. Do not be too outspoken, know when to talk, when to listen and when to be quiet.

Love your husband with all your heart, never tell him, "if not because of my children........", remember you've known him before the arrival of those children.

Pamper your husband, put his head on your chest and pray for him. Give him unannounced kisses from the back.... mwahhhhhh, don't be too holy to kiss in the public. He is your husband for God sake. Be romantic, it is good for the heart. Some people are not happy that you're happy in that marriage, prove them wrong, show them that you love him and he is your crown, always feel good when you hold him.

Don't look 50 while you're still under 40, it drives men crazy. Always keep fit regardless of your age or body.

To Men:
Do not take a woman who does all these for granted!
Satisfy your woman's needs morally, emotionally and financially. Know how to make her happy. Pamper her, pray for her, cherish her, love her, support her. Empower her and make her feel wanted like your precious jewel.

Kaduna Airport in good conditions – FAAN

28/03/2017 7:14
In what appears a response to the concern raised last week by the House of Representatives on the state of the Kaduna International Airport, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said the facilities at the airport are in proper condition.
Acting General Manager, Safety Services of FAAN, Mr. Elifue Agbi gave the clarification in a statement after inspecting the Airport.
According to him, operations at the airport have been smooth since traffic was diverted from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA).
It would be recalled that the House had mandated its committee on Aviation to investigate activities at the airport after members observed thatpractices at the airport were not in compliance with standards.
The resolution followed the adoption of a motion entitled “Need to Review and Ensure that Kaduna International Airport Complies with Operational andSafety Requirements as Contained in Prescribed Aerodrome Standard of Nigeria Civil Aviation Acts and Regulation’’.
However, the FAAN senior official said: “The operations at the airport since the diversion of traffic from Abuja airport has been smooth. To movetraffic to this place, we decided that the airport should be upgraded and the upgrade was done. We make sure that the Instrument Landing System areworking, the runway and apron clearly marked. These are the things that help in the landing and taking-off of aircraft.”
According to him, the perimeter fence at the airport is also in good shape.”The perimeter fence is to help in securing airside and the propertiestherein. It is part of our defense and it is done”, he said.
On claim that aircraft on the tarmac are not properly fuelled, he said,”You cannot just bring nozzle and start fueling. Aircraft have differenttypes of inlets and they are special nozzles. The nozzles are very expensive and fitted to the bowser. No airline will allow its airliner tobe fueled in a terrible way because of the safety concern. Notwithstanding, when we read the report we decided to carry out our investigation. we wentto Conoil, SITA and Cleanserve and they have the facilities.”
Acting General Manager, Corporate Communications FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu said NCAA approved the airport before operations commenced.
“If proper things are not in place, NCAA would not have allowed the operations. NCAA came and looked at everything we have done and they agreedthat we are good to go. Everything was done to ensure that we meet ICAO standard.
“What passengers complained about initially were the Automated Teller Machines (ATM), but now, we have a row of ATMs. And also, Federal Government has been magnanimous enough to provide free busses and trainthat convey passengers free of charge. During the peak period which is mostly in the morning, the Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel are on ground to handle that.

After a while I went downstairs and saw her breaking a lot of things. She was holding King when I saw her downstairs breaking stuffs.
I went to get my mum, maybe if she saw my mum she will be respectful and stop this.

JAYJAY OKOCHA PROVES HE'S THE KING OF SOCCER

Mar 28, 2017 • One of Nigeria’s most famed footballers of all time, Jay Jay Okocha, has stunned people after showing off his incredible skills yet again.
Even though it has been nine years since Jay-Jay Okocha’s twinkle toes last graced a competitive football match, it seems he has managed to retain much of the skill that made him a cult hero.
Now 43 years old, Okocha’s days as a professional footballer are long over and have, evidently, been substituted with a few rounds of golf.
According to Daily Mail UK, the famed footballer swapped his boots for a set of irons last Wednesday as he took part in the Barclays Kenya Open Pro-Am on the European Challenge Tour.
However, the former Nigeria international could not resist a throwback to his glorious past and displayed some of his expert ball control in front of the cameras, albeit with a smaller and much harder ball than he is probably used to.
Okocha managed a combination of 17 kicks-ups before eventually losing control of the golf ball, which seemed more than enough to leave the spectators impressed.
It brought back memories of his glory days under Sam Allardyce at Bolton, where he became something of a Premier League legend after frequently making fools out of opponents with outrageous pieces of skill.
While he may have played some of his best football at the then-named Reebok Stadium, his best moment came many years before as he collected an Olympic gold medal with Nigeria at the Atlanta Games in 1996.
He also won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994 and was named African Player of the Year twice throughout his career. Finally, Brazilian legend Pele named him in his FIFA 100, a list of the 125 best living footballers.
Speaking after his round in Kenya, Okocha said: ‘I’m enjoying every bit of it – it’s not as easy as I thought.’
On Thursday, the Barclays Kenya Open will begin in earnest with competitors looking to win share of the £190,000 purse with the winner also getting a chance to compete on the European Tour.
